All of the prices and reviews are available online, have your homework done before you walk into the showroom. PC World/Currys (a UK plc called DSG) are so big that they use their muscle to force the major manufacturers to produce 'special' TV model numbers exclusive to them, that means that they can give the (completely worthless) price 'guarantee' that you can't buy the same model cheaper anywhere else. It also makes it more difficult to do a price comparison and to be sure that you're getting the model that you've planned on buying.

Is it worth getting 4K? Possibly but you will need (1) decent internet bandwidth and (2) a 4K source which in the short to near term means Netflix or the Amazon video service.

From what I'v read and watched online, 4K on screens under 50" is not ment to be worth it. As coylemj mentioned, you need a pretty good net connection to get 4k working with Netflix and Amazon and 99.9% of Youtube 4k content is not true 4k.
