    I wonder if anyone has or has test driven this car? There seems to be quite little info about it. It costs above 40k after grant.

    I've driven it.

    Substantial improvement on the FWD abomination of the 2 series tourer.

    Weak motor though considering the I3 has 170 odd hp.

    It would be interesting to know the battery Kwh.

    Nice car though and a nice bit of extra space compared to the Leaf.

    No reason though they can't make a proper fully electric version but they'll keep milking the ICE profit as long as possible.

    BMW will be selling millions of plug in hybrids in a few years, the i8 is pretty much the direction they are moving in, but these things take time

    Sad for BMW then that they don't make proper electric cars apart from the I3 but then again they want people driving ICE powered cars so best not to produce them, it's compliant just to have one and that's all they will make.

    Just below 8 kwh battery so assuming that is similar battery to 330e it would mean about 14 miles of pure EV range.
