Hi all. Renovating a 1980s house at the moment. Going to dryline the internal walls with 40mm insulated boards. Build is standard cavity with NO insulation in the cavity. Do or don't in need to batten out insulted boards? I'm concerned about mould and don't want issues down the line. Thanks

If there is a 100 mm empty cavity there I'd seriously consider full fill blown bead insulation and forget the dry lining.

I dry lined my new build 25 years ago.
You have no mass to store heat so it can cool quickly.
Fill the cavity first and see the results. Won't cost a fortune.
