Where to get lengths of reinforced bar (rebar)?

Hi all, I'm doing a garden project with some sleepers, and would like some lengths of rebar to help with holding sleepers in place. Where can I get lengths? Will most builders merchants supply? Is there a typical length? Ideally something more manageable for the DIY'r and not needing van/truck to transport Thanks, Tom

Steel works / iron monger will cut it to length.

Not sure about builders providers (what lengths they have or if they cut it down).
