West Lake catches the eye and looks overpriced at 10/1. Beaten a head by palace moon on its last run. Palace Moon was seriously well handicapped and West lake was only raised 1 lb for that run to 57. Has won twice of 58. Drawn 1 and 10/1 looks a couple of points too big. 1 pt win

Form looks poor through a combination of running in Novice hurdles against superior animals or on ground he's unlikely to like being out of a flat bred.

Runs off top weight in his first handicap today in a real poor race and back on good ground with Johnson onboard for the first time since winning a bumper on him,8/1 available with Stan James for anyone interested.

Ad Idem has no chance. Needs at least another 1/2 mile and more on this quicker ground.

If that clown Rothwell wasnt training Merrion Row it would be the cert of the year. Horse has loads of ability but this fella would find it hard to get Vautour to win a handicap off 90.

He probably does but this is such a bad race he could get away with it. He travelled particularly strongly at Leop a few runs back in a decent handicap when he was fifth but given a horrendous ride he should have placed at least. Wouldn't be quick to dismiss it offhand

He was that keen to run he went off before the race without the jockey :pac: Money back so maybe it's a blessing :P
