    I got a letter today saying I owe 40 in fees but my account is supposed to be a student account, got no notification it was changed plus I'm still a student attending college, anyone know it it can be reversed?

    Are you still a student? or did the bank make a right determination?

    The bank is allowed convert a student account to a normal account subject to stated terms.

    You should switch to Number 26 (free banking but online only) or PTSB (free banking if you deposit 1.5k per month).

    After 3 years, I think, the bank automatically change the account into a current account. You have to prove your a student to then again.
