    Hi All

Moved into a new house recently and would love to get a wood burner fitted.

We would like a free standing one that would fit into the void of the old fireplace however the old fireplace is not big enough for that at the moment!

We also found out from removing a lot of wood etc that there is a back boiler.

We had someone come out today to give us a quote on fitting a stove who told us that the back boiler has actually been disconnected but we would need to rip it out. (Apparently for him to fit and supply a stove would be €2500)

So basically we are looking to get some idea on the cost of getting the back boiler removed and if possible the fireplace rebuilt so that a freestanding stove could be placed into the actual breast. (If this part can't be done we will just get it standing outside!).

Ive attached a pic of our current fireplace.

Would anyone be able to PM me any contacts for quotes?

    Thanks!
