Whirlpool Washing machine water not coming in.

    Whirlpool Washing Machine, I used it last weekend & it was fine. When I put it on today, it just make a movement for a minute & the red light came on indicating SERVICE/screw Driver symbol. The water is only coming as far as the filter at the back, I washed that out, it wasn't dirty anyway. The water isn't passing into this filter. What could be wrong.

    set it for drain only, if it fails it has possible door interlock failure or worse still module failure

    When around 5 years old my Whirlpool ADG7560/1 started to give similar symptoms, I removed the "timber"door (integrated unit) and found that the plastic cable tray that runs under the door was cracked/broken and had cut through one of the wires, this is a fairly common problem with the Whirlpool but it normally doesnt manifest itself until the machine is around this age or older.

    Could be any of brushes, element, pump or doorlock. Call your local service engineer
