    I just read through it and teagasc are actually disagreeing with that recommendation but saying more research is required. They then go on to question if tail docking should be routinely done on all farms or if it's not necessary in some situations.
    personally I'd question use of the rubber ring if you're going to come along after with the burdizzo. Sure the burdizzo will take the tail off anyway.
