Charger @ Fota Island Resort

    Has anyone used the charger at Fota Island Resort? I've a holiday booked there in a couple of weeks and was hoping to take the Leaf... but the booking person, via email, said that they don't have one!

    It is showing up as being there on the ESB eCars map (and plugshare) and has a contact email of: doriordan@fotaisland.ie

    I mailed that address and got a bounce.... :confused:

    I pass every day. I can drop in and ask/snoop if you want.

    Thanks Padraig... I finally got them on the phone. And after initially denying their existence they agreed to check with someone else... After another five minutes on hold I was told that, yes they do exist and are working...

    Doesn't inspire confidence but I think I'll take the Leaf on the holiday and assume the best

    There's a public charger in nearby Cobh as well. I'm there too if you're stuck.

    Well I'm back, they have a charger alright and it works just fine. Hard to find though, I now understand why must of the staff are unaware of its existence!

    It's on the side of a shed in the hotel car park on the right side of the hotel.
