Do you need proof that you completed 12 lessons before applying for your test

Hi, I finished my 12th driving lesson about a year ago and never got around to booking the test but I'm gonna do it soon. I lost my log book that he signed after every lesson. Do I need this book when going for my test? My friend said that his instructor logged the lessons online so the book wasn't needed.

No book needed. They should be logged online! You won't be able to book at date for your test unless they are logged online.

    Check here: https://ccwdriver.rsa.ie/driver/driverlogin.aspx

Enter your details and Driver Number. This will shows a page with the 12 lessons and tells you if they have all been recorded. Only once these are complete can you apply for your test

I completed my last one yesterday but Im still waiting for some of mine to be added so i cant apply for my test yet. (one of my instructors was in a car accident last week and has been off work since then)

I did lessons with an instructor 5 years ago but never did them all.
The instructor kept the little book but the RSA site shows me as having completed the first 9 lessons.
I want to do the last 3 and apply for my test.
Can I just give a new instructor my driver number or will I have to hunt the guy down for the little book?

You don't need to be with the same instructor for all 12 lessons.

The log book has a reference number. I'm unsure if that's needed by the instructor.
