    It's that time of the year again, and Ireland's premier MTB series kicks off in Sligo on the 17th of April.

    If anyone is familiar with the course, there's been some changes to part of the lap, but still a fun fast techy lap awaits.

    This is your chance to compete with the best, in one of the best areas of natural trails in the country.

    Mr. NPS filmed a preview of the lap today for anyone who wants to see what they're up against.

    Hopefully the rain hangs off for the next few weeks and dries the course a bit, it's really fun when it's fast.

    So in spite of the weather doing it's best to make a mockery of all the hard work, the course is close to as good as it could be.

    Serious effort put in by the Northwest crew, as the pictures show.

    Not to mention there will be a recognisable face or two in the bunch on Sunday...

    Just to book end the thread, this last week the weather held and the lads from Northwest MTB put a tonne of effort into making sure the course stood up to the demands of about 200 riders.

    From talking to competitors on the day there was nothing but good reviews coming back and the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
