Help Pls - Twitter Italic's

I'm trying to tweet ulster bank, but half way through typing the msg pink shading appeared along the line, I can't remove it and can't even send the tweet. Even after exiting and going in again its still there when I type:mad:

Have you gone over the 140 character limit?

Unfortunately, it would appear to me that, as a result of your lack of brevity, you may possibly have exceeded Twitter's 140 character lim

Hold a piece of paper up to the monitor press print screen then post it to them ?

Send them a DM instead, there's no character limit there!

When I copied and paste the msg into word that pink line showed up as in italic's, that is why I thought I had hit a key that turned it on.

Yeah its the 140 limit but why does it not just stop at that, would that make too much sense:D
