Advice on Immergas to Vokero boiler quote

    Hi
Am sorry to hop onto this forum but a few wise folk on here who could advise?
I have an immergas boiler - about 6-7 years old- water leaking down the front of it and underneath it onto worktops
Fan was making terrible sounds all weak and eventually water started dripping out from up inside the boiler
Had a rep from an RGI company out today- advised that the cylinder was blocked most probably due to hard water- a lot of neighbours have had the same problem- he said they could replace the cylinder ±700e but better off to get the whole boiler replaced with a Vokera25kw combi as well as emptying out all the 'black water' from a radiator- and guaranteed for 5 years

Pricing this at 2300-00 euro including VAT-

Any advice on whether or not this is a ball park figure for replacing a boiler with another one- he says the price is all the parts and labor for 1-1.5 days- they do have a good reputation (based on google) but don't know much about plumbing and really don't want to get taken for a ride

I plan to get a second quote anyway but any other advice or experience here would be welcomed

    Thanks a million

Thats a fairly reasonable price for retro fit of a combi boiler and a powerflush.

Make of boiler is VERY important.

    Lada V BMW

Do you want it to last 10 years or 20 ?
Do you want to regularly spend hundreds on repairs ?

Bosch boilers seem to be the preferred choice here.

But a BMW costs more than a Lada.
