What are you doing to address your anxiety?

If you see your GP or a psychiatrist to discuss your anxiety, and they deem you to be too sick to work, you may be eligible for a different payment.

If you don't currently get treatment for your anxiety, you need to talk to your GP about a treatment plan - therapy, mindfulness, meds perhaps - and then work from there.

Unfortunately, as with any illness you need to work on getting better and effective treatment for your illness.

But either way, your first step should be your GP to discuss your options. If they think that you may qualify for other payments they can start the process. If they think you need (more) treatment, they can do that too.

Just to be aware though, these are long, long processes. There are so many administrative steps. There is no guarantee that you will qualify.

    Best of luck.
