im on the jsb around 2 months so i set up a meeting with a case officer as i was interested in an online course with the e college, im signed up to that course now and have just started. do i have to inform social welfare or anything? does it effect my payment, the meeting with the case officer was fairly rushed and i stupidly didnt ask these questions

i also have just received a letter about attending a group information session and a meeting with a case officer after. i presume i still attend this?

No, you don't have to tell them. Just do the on-line courses alongside looking for jobs. And do attend anything that Welfare invite you do.

To be honest just do it and don't tell them, if you give them any reason at all they will cut you off.
