not on social media

    Hi everyone
    I'm just wondering what's peoples thoughts on people who don't use social media, facebook, twitter etc.?
    I'm not on social media (apart from boards, but that's kind of anonymous), I use WhatsApp but only really as a form of texting someone.
    I used to use social media when I was in my teens, think it was bebo, but even back then I never really thought much of it.
    I'm just wondering, in this day and age where image is everything to alot of people, do people think its odd for someone in their mid 20s not to be using social media, as I know most people I know wouldn't be able to go 5 minutes without looking up facebook or whatever.
    I'm not really sure why I never joined facebook or twitter, I guess I'm just not bothered about looking at other peoples lives day in, day out.
    Anyway anyone have any opinion?

    I'd be curious why you even care what other people think?

    For what it's worth, it's not actually that weird. While there are a lot of people on social media, there are also a fair few that aren't. The only potential issue could be missing out on events, big news etc, but if that's not an issue for you then I don't see why you would have any need to join social media if you're not interested in it.
