Anyone ever replace or repair an air seat? Tractor is a MF 5460. Motor has stopped working. Checked fuses but no joy. Think a new one costs close to a grand.

I'd check wiring before doing anything else. The constant bouncing can cut wires. Had wires cut in loader earlier this year with same symptoms as yours. Try bring direct power to motor and see if it works.

Same thing happened the seat in the tractor a few months ago.
The wire got cut inside its sheath and only for a phase tester it would be hard to see where the power was going to and not to.

Changed the wire and its working again.:)

You could try seatsystems.ie if it turns out that the motor is goosed. They do spares for most types of seats. But as previously said, try the wiring first to be sure. If you have a multimeter you should be able to check for voltage on the power running to the seat.

Same thing happened to my 5455 and it was a broken wire. As said before check the wires first.
