Amazon priority delivery

    If I order 3-4 items like PC case fans, a headset and little stuff like that and let's say some of these items are available for priority delivery does it charge me 7.99 for every item that qualifies for priority or just 7.99 for the delivery as a whole?

    Also is priority even worth it as in are the delivery estimations reasonably accurate?

    When selecting priority delivery most of the times the delivery is done by UPS, DHL, etc it is worth the extra money if you need it faster but if can wait user Free shipping.

    The delivery price is per order, so place all the items in the basket proceed to the last step of the ordering process, (before confirming order) it should show the delivery price per order. If the basket also contains items sold by 3rd party you might see more delivery prices.

    I've always found priority delivery by Amazon spot on, either order arrives dead on time or even a day early.
    For the sake of the 60p difference between standard and priority (if its available) if I end up paying for delivery I'll always opt for priority.

    Otherwise I'll just go with free delivery.

    Its worth noting that while it may work with paid for delivery, Prime is no faster than regular in Ireland.

    Its also worth mentioning that if you pay for delivery and the items arrive after the date advised by Amazon they will normally refund the delivery charge if you complain.
