    Hi

    Do you need a planning permission to extend your property to the backyard or to the side(drive way).
    where can I get the information for the same and will i need an engineer or architect.
    Any comments welcomed

    Back - 40 Sq. m max with garden of 25Sq. M remaining and some other rules with regards to Windows etc

    Side - you need planning.

    Engineer- who will design the structural elements?
