CPD - using Udemy

    Hi,

I'm a software engineer who is currently out of work. I'm trying to keep my Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Log up to date by undertaking Udemy courses and suchlike online on a regular basis.

My question relates to the validity of adding these courses to my CPD record. My professional body requires me to undertake a certain amount of training per year. Most of these courses do not have an exam at the end. In theory you could autorun the course and print out the certificate.

Before I ask them whether this is acceptable I thought I'd run it past you guys for a second opinion. The courses are all directly related to my field of work.

What do you reckon - add to the CPD log or not?

    Thanks.
