Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Any ideas where to find a competent iOS developer for a small project (update of an app)?

Trying the usual freelancer sites (Upwork/Freelancer), the majority of applicants have no idea what they are talking about or are plain liars.

Be racist and ignore Asians. Stick to Eastern Europe/Russia and the West. I know that's not PC but it's a fact of life on those sites.

Or even just include a word in your spec like BOARDS.IE and say 'mention boards.ie in your application so I know you read this'

If you get 20 applicants, only about 6 will include that word. About half that again will be competent, you can tell from their job history. Boom, you now have 3 great leads for your work.
