Apparently this is it. There is no thing I want to watch on the TV. Can someone justify why this time is called the best ever for TV? I just think people will watch any old merda if the productions are good.

The golden age of television is when you are about 14 and are seeing and understanding dramas made for grown ups, laughing at clever jokes that were above your head a year earlier and able to stay up late enough to see boobies.

Put simply, it's because the bar has been set very high. This applies to tone, character development, story, themes and narratives.

Remember the days when a movie star wouldn't be caught dead in a TV series?

Well you can't say that anymore, some will even go all out for camos on certain shows.
