    http://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-3DS/Hyrule-Warriors-Legends-1025970.html#Downloadable_content

    Downloadable content

You can expand your adventure with downloadable content, offering new characters, weapons, Adventure Mode maps and more! Each pack of content will be available to purchase individually, and the Legends of Hyrule Pack Season Pass is also available to pre-purchase from launch, which gives you access to all of the DLC content in one purchase, plus an exclusive The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker-themed Ganondorf costume to download straight away.

In addition, some of this content will also be made available to owners of Hyrule Warriors on Wii U via a similar season pass.

Legends of Hyrule Pack Season Pass

The Legends of Hyrule Pack will be available in three forms:

    Available March 24th 2016:

Nintendo 3DS Only Season Pass: DLC for Hyrule Warriors: Legends on Nintendo 3DS only

Nintendo 3DS + Wii U Season Pass: DLC for both Hyrule Warriors: Legends on Nintendo 3DS and Hyrule Warriors on Wii U

    Available summer 2016:

Wii U Only Season Pass: DLC for Hyrule Warriors on Wii U only

    Downloadable content packs

There will be four DLC Packs for Hyrule Warriors: Legends on Nintendo 3DS, which can be bought separately or all at once in the Legends of Hyrule Pack Season Pass.

Not sure if I'm unerstanding that correctly, will the extra characters like Linkle be available as paid DLC for the Wii U version of this game in summer? I thought the only way to get those was to buy both versions of the game.

jesus thats a lot of content.

It's very expensive. The original season for Hyrule Warriors on Wii U was much better value(€15). It's €22 for the Legends of Hyrule Pack Season Pass and The Legends Character Pack. And the 3DS packs have much more content.

God damn it I picked a bad time (walleterally speaking) to get back into this game. I can't even level up the characters I've got, let alone 6 more...

I heard you get a version of the character that can use only the new weapon, so Linkle wouldnt have her twin crossbows available etc.

Am undecided on this, played the HWL demo and runs pretty well on 3DS, but would rather add to my existing save than start again.

Getting patchy enough reviews. Having a New 3DS seems to be essential.

How is everyone who got this getting on with it? I'm only just playing the Wii U version now so it's way too soon for me to consider getting it but I'd love to hear peoples impressions. The demo ran very slow on my regular 3DS but I was aware that would be the case.

If anyone does pick it up and doesn't have the Wii U edition, and are feeling generous, the code for the characters would be really appreciated... :D;):p

Nay, you took my line! Fiend! :p

That being said, I've only got the WiiU version myself and a regular 3DS. Don't think I'll pick it up until I have chance to pickup a New 3DS model :[

Just to add, if anyone does decide to give away a code from Legends, please do not post the code in the forum. This would mean the code could be robbed by someone just searching the Internet for codes. Any such codes should be sent by PM only. Similar to when the promotional codes for free games were being shared!

    I like it a lot.

It's a fun game! But the reduced enemy numbers and pop in was bad in the demo, so I'm going to stick to the Wii U version, and I'll probably get the DLC for the Wii U one too.

A friend messaged me the code today when I woke up, since he doesn't have a WiiU. Gonna be enjoying the characters in a bit on my TV! :]

    N3ds or old 3ds?

N3DS. The standard 3DS version seems laggy from the reports I've read. But either one would have reduced enemy numbers on screen from the Wii U version, which is why you get the pop in enemy characters.

I sense a spinoff - The Legend of Zelda: Happy Dress Designer!
