Anyone watch this new 3 part series yet. It has Colm Meaney in it. It is made by Universal studios. Am sure there is some other big names involved too. Was on Sky One tonight.

An absolute $h1t show from start to finish, save yourself and avoid parts 2 and 3 at all cost.

I'd heard it was one of 10 shows to watch in 2016 & afaik it was shown on DEC in US, but showing this is only the 3rd post, it looks like one of 10 shows to avoid!

Loved the first part, half way through the second part I just lost interest, it just gets a bit ridiculous and silly. Having said that, the acting is good, and it does look good.

I only just watched it this evening. Had it recorded. Its not bad. A bit like Independence day mixed with some V and maybe some other show. The acting in it is decent. The alien ships are very cool too.

Well, there is another thread on this show, here. I've also only seen Part 1 so far, but read the book is a SF classic which I read years ago.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.
