    Brian,
My house is wired and I am looking to start a multiroom system. I would like 5.1 in both sitting rooms. A 9 channel avr controlling two other rooms in the larger sitting room and a sub 5.1 in the smaller one. Would you recommend Denon over Musiccast? I see Pioneer and Onkyo have just launched fireconnect multiroom systems so it seems everyone is integrating the multiroom function. I'm not sure whether to hold off.

I am hoping to build this system over time and am starting with the smaller room and was looking at the Denon2200 and either the audio mass or 7000i. Is the Tannoy HTS101 worth considering? I will also need 3 Wall mounts and 5m of cable. Thanks.

I've given your query a thread of its own - easier for you qnd the RS Guys to follow replies/discussion here rather than have it buried in an unrelated thread.

    Cheers.

    Hi Barryleonard.

The Denon 2200 really cleaned up in the reviews and was product of the year.
We currently have a deal on the 2200 and the mass 5.1 priced at £799.00
    http://www.richersounds.com/package/system-savers/home-cinema-separates-bundle-deals/pah012830

There in no real package deal on the 2200 with the 7000i pack at the moment which would come in at a total of £1278.00

Compaired to the mass and the 7000i the Tannoy HTS101 are not in the same league.

Monitor audio make there own brackets foe the Mass kit which are priced at £29.95 per pair or £14.95 each

Cable starts at the Cambridge Symphony 100 priced at .99p per meter

For the quality of the Mass or the 7000i I would be looking at going for a silver based calbe like the Ultra Micro priced at £2.99 per meter

In terms of the multi room feature the Denon Heos products can work along side the 2200 and gives a very wide scope of use.
Please check the link below for the Heos products. Have a little look over them and see what you think.

Let me know what you think.

Any questions please drop me a post or a PM.
