Solvent Weld waste pipe vs. 40mm

I've a sink I'm trying to plumb out to a waste outlet. The waste seemed to be a 40mm pipe..that turned out to be the 43mm external diameter one that some call "solvent weld 40mm".

The sink has pipe that's has 40mm external diameter out. I think ideally, I'd get some sort of elbow joint that has a 40mm internal diameter compression fitting on one side, and a 43mm internal diameter compression fitting on the other.

Anyone know what that joint might be called ?
