Can't help with the cruise itself but as for weather I was in Guadalajara in November and the weather was quite nice, most days were like a very good summers day here in Ireland and we got no rain at all. Not sure if it gets worse into December and January though.

I would take the DJ holidays in January when things are quiet and most time I go to Florida. The weather is like a summers day in Ireland. Early to mid 20's however you might need a fleece or hoody in the evening as there is no cloud cover and gets cold easily. It is a compromise with me and my partner. I like the parks, doing stuff etc. She wants to sit in the sun and drink cocktails!!

This is one of the reasons we will do the cruises. Out of Port Canaveral which is about an hour from Orlando. But we had planned to fly or drive to Miami this year and fly to somewhere like Cuba or Mexico for something different. Weather down that part is still mid 20's and not as cold in the evening. Look at all the cruise sites for deals. Some weeks are more expensive than others. I will say this, stay away from Carnival. Yes you can get a suite for the same price as a normal room on Royal Caribbean but well put it this way.....Carnival is sh1t!!!!!!! RC or Norwegian would be 2 of the better cruise companies.
