Carpet cleaning - clay

Hello, not sure if this is the right place to open this........

We have lived in a rented house for the last few months. Ever since we did the first vacuum of the carpet we noticed what was essentially clay in the vacuum cleaner ( we have one of these bag less cleaners and it is see through, so you can see all the dirt )

And every time we have vacuumed since, it's still picking up clay. I dunno, the owner must have had kids wandering around with clay on their shoes constantly.

Would getting in a carpet cleaner fix this issue?

Are there different types of carpet cleaning that would target something like this issue ?

Any comments on this, is there any specific cleaning technique that would work better for my carpet - deep clean, steam clean etc ?

I've used a clean yard brush on carpet a few times I've accidentally got dirt on them on jobs lifts everything out of it. Tile grout , wood shavings, dust , muck most things bar oil or anything that stains. Once a home owner asked me how I got her carpet so clean looking I hadn't the heart to tell her I brushed the hell out of it with a yard brush just said I'd a really powerful hover for work.

Oh ok. So you brush all the stuff out of it and then Hoover up all the dirt.
