I am going to Australia in October from Ireland and need to get travel insurance but I only have a one-way ticket. I'm currently living in Canada and will be leaving in Sept to stay at home for a month and go again.
Most policies require a return ticket etc but i dont have one and i want to get cover for a year. Living in Canada throws a bit of a spanner in the works as im not living in Ireland yet but i want to get insurance soon to cover cancellations or interruptions tec.

    Any advice??

    Thanks :)

Maybe try taking out the insurance with an Australian company.

I have used Travel Insurance Direct (TID) and Covermore. Both are good policies. Just check with them on the residency status.
