I did one of these before and I thought it went well.
I'll be posting pictures of the watches I think are cool or interesting. Maybe of you see something you could do the same.

    Anyway lets get this started....

    TAG Heuer Monza CR2080

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

PVD seems to be in vogue this year - Breitling have released a couple of their own ones too. Think it was a B2 and SOHC.

Hoping there'll be more mental stuff from the likes of MB&F; new colour combos of the same watches are nice and all but not that exciting.

Patek Philippe 5930G World Time Chronograph. Normally I prefer a regular GMT hand (Grand Seiko, Rolex etc) but there is something about this. The name on the dial probably has something to do with it, but I also just love the colour and the size (39.5mm). Price....yours for only....$73,712

Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Minute Repeater, The World's Thinnest (In Current Production)

NOMOS Tetra Neomatik (New size and movement)

Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Master Chronometer Chronograph. Pics of this watch were out before BW2016.

Omega Speedmaster Grey Side Of The Moon Meteorite Watch. These guys love adding variations to the speedmaster.

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Master Chronometer GMT. This thing is a whopping 17mm thick !!

That Tag Heuer Monza is stunning

The new Black Bays are going to be fitted with a brand new in house Tudor MT-5602 movement. Surely the value of the older ones with the ETA2824 are set to plummet?

Might do or it might not. Given the choice I'd rather have the ETA and not have to be locked into a restricted servicing regime. If, as you suggest, the initial price is lower then all the better.

And then, of course, there's this:

Ha! Wouldn't be a rolex/Tudor without them printing an essay on the dial. Made me smile.

    Though in saying that… My first watch as a kid;

    ibkspw.jpg

I bloody well adored the spiel on the dial. And loved dropping it in a glass of water and watching it tick away. Well it was "Waterproof 100%". Try getting away with that these days. :D OK it was the 70's and I was 10 but still, there's quite the bit of 10 year old still in me and I suspect among many other watch nutters out there. Rolex may be onto something. :D

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
