Macbook Pro Retina screen issue!

Periodically after I input my password just as the screen is transitioning to the start up screen, there will be colour flash or distortion. This is momentary, last time it was a green streak in the bottom left hand side of the screen. Before it was pink and green colours again affecting a small part of the screen.

The laptop starts and operates as normal. Has anyone seen this before, or know what may be causing it. The operating system is current and updated.

    Thanks for reading.

How old is the laptop? And specifically what model is it? 13"? What year?

The Laptop is 3 moths old, 13.3 inch late 2015 model. I know i'm under warranty but want to know if anyone else has encountered a similar issue. Thanks

It's so new I would be leaning towards simply taking it back.

It could be some graphics hardware issue. If you were so inclined you could reinstall MacOS and see how you get on. If that fixes it then happy days, but if not I would take it back.

Hi yeah i will reinstall operating system tomorrow and see what happens. I have checked online and can't find this exact problem. I am worried it is a symptom of a more serious problem.
