Just looking for advice my mate Mark McConnell is an Irish comedian in Melbourne he has a show coming up in the festival , anyway I've been trying to get the support of the Irish community in oz to drum up a bit of hype and haven't had much support however alot of aussie media etc have showed interest his show ''washed up'' is about moving to oz and he is highly rated on the amateur Melbourne scene :
so far i've tried
facebook pages : Irish around Melbourne , Irish around oz , Irish chamber of commerce
and reached out to the Irish echo
it got me thinking regarding community and resources and the lack of any, advice on avenues to pursue in oz.
