Just looking for options or even qoutes if possible for a full car respray? The is space grey or gunmetal gray.

I am getting qoutes at 1,500 which is a no go for me at the moment.

    Any advice is appreciated
    Thanks

€1500 for a full respray is cheap.
    You could wrap it?

I know its cheapest ive got sp far but cannot give that amount for a respray. How much is it for the wrap?

Ive seen places advertise it from €600. It would depend on the car I suppose.
Wrapping isn't permanent though, but it might be an option for you.

How long does it stay on for?

I would hate to see the job done for €1500 let alone €600.
Quality materials, paint and lacquer would be €600 or more on their own.

Break it down into what's involved.

Strip all trim and associated parts from car.
Prep and repair and dents or damage.
    Flat back repairs.
    Prime.
    Bake.
    Block primer back.
    Paint in colour.
    Apply lacquer.
    Bake.
    Sand and polish.
    Reassemble car.

There's a huge amount of work involved in painting a car properly.

Nobody's talking about a paint job for €600

My bad. There have been posts here saying Mick down the lane will do a job for similar money so you can see where I'm coming from.

For a full respray I'd be thinking €2,500 - €3,500 for a proper job on a car the size of a 3 series if the price was based on the quality of the work.

Would be cheaper to sell the car and buy one the correct colour you want.

    Don't think you understood!

    eg

Sell you car for €5k, buy one in the colour/condition you want for €5.2k
    Save 1300 quid

Are you looking to respray to change colour or cover up marks/scratches/ damage? As previously stated might be cheaper to sell and buy desired colour if thats your reason for respray.

Interested to see how you got on with this crowd, as I recently seen a job done by them and I wouldn't be impressed.
