Hi, I heard rumours that Educate Together are planning to launch a new secondary school in Castleknock. Does anyone have any info on this? I can't find anything to confirm this for certain on their website. Thank you.

    Hi

There is definitely a secondary school opening Sept 2017 in Carpenterstown/Castleknock, but does anyone know where it will be built?

    Regards

There are patronage efforts ongoing for the new school currently, and one of the letters from those parents involved in the Gaelcholáiste includes details that it will be a separate complex on the campus of Luttrellstown CC from Sept 2017, and will move to a custom built premises when it reaches critical mass of students. I haven't heard any proposed locations of the permanent site, yet.

The applications for patronage are closing tomorrow I think? And there are applications from CEIST the Catholic patronage body, so if you have a child between 1-5th class and are interested in an ET secondary school then I'd suggest getting them added to give weight to their application.
