I was wondering how much it might cost to trace electrical cables into solid concrete walls? Would it be incredibly messy?
Would only be talking about 8 double sockets, and 8 light switches

I think you mean wall chasing for conduit and socket boxes.
Any good sparks with they're own wall chaser , kango and vacuum set up would prob charge around 250€ for it.

Thanks very much for that bonzo I was thinking it would be a lot more than that! terrific...I dont suppose you could recommend a good and reasonable electrician to do it? Based in D10

Just so your clued in that's only to chase the walls.
Conduit, boxes , cable , wiring, patching, and fixing of socket and switch covers would be extra.
And even with a vacuum there'll still be a bit of dust to contend with.
Or you could just hire a Hilti wall chaser and vacum and small kango hammer for about 80€ a day.
