    Hi,
Discovered a bird in the garden which may just be a hen pheasant but seems to have a yellower head than I've seen before. Has a ring on its right leg, but seems to be limping from its left.

Thanks you! Would raised phesants typically be ringed? We have a few phesants wandering around the back fields. Was curious as to whether they would be wild or not.

That looks like a female Reeve pheasant to me. No doubt an escapee
