Has anyone good ideas for temporarily making some windows more secure or vandal proof?

Thinking or putting 2mm acrylic sheets over them, maybe with double sides tape or brackets.

    Any other options?

Use polycarbonate, not acrylic. Polycarbonate is tough, hard to break but scratches easier. Acrylic is more scratch resistant but cracks easy.

Depends on the definition of temporary
Are we talking Paddys day temporary if so 10 mm osb/ ply lash a bit of paint in if it needs to be prettied up a bit for the evening. Whip it down the following morning.

Its a vacant house, probably has to be up about 1 - 1.5 months. Was going to use PLY on side/back windows. Would like perspex / acrylic for the front windows.
