I hate all my clothes, they're all a thousand years old and BORING.

I need some new stuff. What is up-to-date, comfortable, feminine and cheap?

SNAGS: I never wear trousers. They give me heartburn and are never comfortable. Skirt girl only.
I have the widest feet since Donald S. Duck: so the sort of dresses that require high heels will not be worn for everyday use.
I get cold so I need warm tops or cardigans etc
I am a lady of middle years who is a sturdily-built size 14. (Housewife)

    Open to the floor!!

Look at toast. Toa.st. They are not cheap but are beautiful clothes with some interest. Might give you ideas if nothing else.

    How cheap is cheap?
One brand I'd consider affordable and good quality is S Oliver - nicely cut tops, jumpers and cardis, and they do some wool blends, so a lot of the stuff is in the 'light but warm' category I favour for layering.
COS, Street One and Zara are great for quality basics with a slight twist too, again not Penneys cheap but not ridiculously expensive.
Fat Face is great too, for dresses that won't require high heels and for great, warm cardigans. John Rocha at Debenhams can be good for jumpers but the prices are pretty steep, better in the sale!
Tesco can be good for longline cardis, worth trawling through the crap.
