samsung electric hob not working

    Have this hob 5 years and it has stopped working no power coming on. can this be repaired or is it a case of get a new hob.

    if the hob has suddenly stopped working it has all the hallmarks of having no power , check fuse/breaker to see if it has tripped, it could be any number of things from a fuse, faulty isolation switch or a burned connection where the mains is connected to the hob

    power is going into it. the PCB enclosure has a v strong burnt smell coming from it

    if you have the ability to open it do but be sure to isolate it first, then check the wiring it should be easy enough to spot
