    Hey guys,
Is this still a cellulose based paint or is it water based in halfords now. It was cellulose like 3 years ago.
    Thanks

It didn't match for me anyway, don't know what they're using these days.

Neither did mine the last time but I did happen to notice one thing.
It was a very dull matt finish.

When I used a different water based paint from another shop it finished the same but the store told me to lacquer over it. Once I done that it matched.

I think if I used lacquer over the cellulose paint it would finish fine.

I have a can right one side of me, colour is fairly accurate, but if the light is shining on it, it can look different. Not sure what it is, but it's not water based anyway. Coat or 2 of lacquer over it, and it should blend in.

I used Halfords paint before to respray a wing on my mothers mettalic red Peugeot. The color match was probably 85%..... It was a slightly different shade but unless you were standing looking at the car it wasn't overly noticible.
