Got a mechanic to fix head gasket for me, week later had problems with can shaft, valves. He said he'd replace it with new 2nd hand head. He did the work today and now there's no poke in the car. Its an sri cdti zafira and now its just not the same as when I gave it to him to get fixed. Even when the gasket was giving problems first time it still had poke in it. He's trying to tell me its a dpf or dp? that's wrong with it and needs took on a good spin for it to clear at 60mph at high raves. Drove 30mins on national road like this and its still fcuked. Hit a round about near home and yes it got me through it, but nothing like it used to be!!!!

Anyone know why an engine wouldn't be the same after a gasket change like this?

Timing belt a bit off and it will not be like before... The "new" head might not be in best shape as well...

Yeah but this is different! Yes the gasket was fcuked but should have been fixed properly! The car was going OK even with the gasket blowing water, now its fcuked again!

The crankshaft and camshaft are not properly synchronized.

Do is this why I'm getting these symptoms of losing power and him trying to tell me its a dpf problem.
