I was driving the van an 05 transit connect eariler and all of a sudden there was no response from the accelerator at all, as if the pedal wasnt being pressed

Everything else was working grand, engine still ticking over etc, Pulled over and turned van off and back on and it worked fine then, im guessing there some sensor maybe needs replaced or what am I looking at here can anyone tell me?

    Cheers

Drive by wire accelerator, possible fault with potentiometer on the pedal or faulty throttle body. EOBD diagnostics necessary.

Ive replaced a few throttle pedals in those but you would need to read the codes to be sure.

There isnt any codes stored in it lads

This is the first it ever happened and i do alot of driving, there was no chugging or anything just zero response all of a sudden when driving, then when turned off an back on was working as normal

Itake it the pedal is a simple bolt bolt on job is it?
