Insurance for a rented house

    Hi All

I am looking for recommendations where best to insure a 5 bed house let to 5 individual tenants.

They would each have a separate lease etc

Would Insurers have an issue with the risk given it is let to 5 separate tenants as opposed to letting the house out as a whole.

    Thanks :)

Call up SA Faughnan and ask them. They are the rental property insurance specialist. They are generally the cheapest for rental insurance and one of the few companies that do it

Most insurers cover tenanted properties. I was with Glennon but this year found insuremyhouse.ie to be better value that any.

Not everyone will cover students or houses with say 8 tenants. SA Faughnan will cover these with zero issue.

The best quote I got was through a broker. There is a good few Insurers out there in the market for rented properties at the moment.
