samsung 23" lcd tv volume up and down etc

    Hi guys,
    The volume on my tv has started to go up and down by itself, and channels change itself, example fo from 332 to 226 etc. I googled it and it said many things that related to the volume control switch inside the tv on the mother board.
    However when i take the batteries out of the remote the oroblem stops.so it seems to be the remote.but there doesnt appear to be any buttons pressed in or damage etc.i changed batteries too just in case.but still the same.it looks to be a remote problem. Any ideas what i should do with the remote?

    bin it and buy a universal remote? or look for a replacement remote on ebay

    You can consider having the remote checked by an electrician or acquire a another one, and a universal one for that matter.
