Hi all, I have bought a few bottles of Lidl's "Crafty Brewing Company" Irish Red Ale, and really like it's flavour. It's less hoppy than many other beers, and this appeals to my palate.
I see it's made in Ireland for Lidl, anyone know who brews for them?

I was going to say try out the IPA because it's fantastic. But maybe not :P

I happened upon this thread a week back and decided to try it.

I'm new to the world of red ales having recently had the pleasure of trying 'St Kevins Red Ale' in Wicklow...

I didn't like this one from Lidl.
Smelled ok and initial taste is ok, a little bitter, but then it tastes quite poor.

Bit of a shame really, one of the very few Lidl products that I haven't liked.

I finally tried it, was much better than I had expected. Both the Irish Pale Ale and Irish IPA.
