Has anyone ever booked a test on the cancellation list? How long (roughly) could you be waiting? I want to book for a few weeks before my licence expires and I'm thinking to book a cancellation test. Current waiting time for my test centre is eight weeks, my licence is out in mid April?

you could give a call to RSA and ask them to put you in cancellation list.
always they would check date for you and tell you the date in the phone.
If you are happy, you could just book the test in that date.
And this is quicker way to take a test I think.
