Hi, The flooring upstairs is MDF and creeks when walked on - I been told if I put more screws on MDF it should sort out the problem. What size screw should I use ? 5.0 x 50mm ? Thanks

4x50 will be fine. Try (as best as possible) to keep centre of the joists. Snapping a chalk line would be handy or follow the existing screws/nail pattern and just double up.
