Would much prefer of it was a G3 gig along with the Aristocrats. Might go if they support though.

Well, we've got 2/3 of the Aristocrats, plus monster muso Mike Keneally to boot, so I think I'm up for this. :pac:

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Great gig and excellent setlist too, his latest album is brilliant so it was good to hear 6/7 songs off it, as well as the hits, would have like to have heard A Door Into Summer, A Train of Angels or Revelations but can't complain overall about it.

Sound was absolutely perfect too, nice and loud but balanced as well.

One minor thing that irritated me was the keyboard and drum solos, they were tedious to listen to, would have rathered 1/2 more songs instead.

Satch is an all-time legend so I'm really glad to get him off my seen list.

This was a great gig. It was also my first time seeing him, and was sitting in the front row. Its good to be able to say I've finally seen and heard him play. His band were also very good!

After the €100 needed for Black Sabbath I didn't head to Joe. Seen him a bunch of times over the past 15 years anyway but how did the seating work out for the gig, lads?

Brilliant gig as usual, was delighted with the setlist too........audience gave him a great send off at the end!

Ended up getting a balcony ticket in the end......and just stood along the aisle facing the stage. Would go there again if it were all seated.;)

I was up on the balcony too, it was fine.

Joe's set-lists usually feature a good chunk of the album he's just released, luckily enough Shockwave Supernova is brilliant so it was good to hear a fair bit from it.

The setlist was pretty good but there are about 30-40 other songs he could have played that I would have loved to hear, the curse of having such a strong back catalogue I suppose.
