Job Seekers - Incorrect Amount

    Hi all,

I got my cheque today, a day later than usual, and the amount on it is very short.

I dropped in two forms last week, entitling me to 7 days pay. But I've received a cheque for only 3 days pay.

The dates on the cheque are "18/02/2016-02/03/2016" so it seems as though they have the correct two weeks.

Would there be any reason why they would deduct four days from me like that? The fact that it came late was slightly worrying - that worry seems now to be justified. I'm confused, and a bit annoyed to be honest, needed that 100+ euro.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

You need to call in and ask, anything else would only be speculation.

Thanks for the reply. Ah yeah, I appreciate that. I was more wondering if it had happened to anyone else before? As in, could there be a reason for it, or was it simply a mistake by someone in the Intro office. I'm on my way to Nutgrove now anyway!

Apparently there was an issue with the system, hence why the cheque went out late.

The reason for the missing amount couldn't be explained, but apparently it was there mistake, and it will go out with my cheque this week. As long as that happens, it's all good.
